Winter Dance week

Winter dance week was good, but i hardly had time to breath and be alone... which i kind of wanted.
we are very much considering starting an asheville rapper sword time, we just need one more person, and fiddle player and swords.

two of the most beautiful moments of my life happend over the week, they are as fallows:
1. We played The Game, and then got out the ping-pong table for a game of round robin ping-pong, which is pretty cool as is. however, we had more people than paddles, so one person used a mushroom, and one used a book. we gave up on trying to keep the ball on the table. Chris got out his fiddle, and played us a pretty little tune. Chloe requested a jig, and everyone started in on our rapper swoard step, and contiuned to play ping-pong. so we had a round robin game of ping pong, played with a mushroom and a book, in a beautiful jig step. it was lovely.
2. At the end of the dance on newyears, everyone still out that late stood in a circle and held hands for the goodnight song, which bob led, but only sang the normal "good night to you all, etc." Chloe Able Taija and I had been excited about getting to sing Ring It In. so once everyone started dirfting away, I said that we should sing it anyway. So the four of us started singing as loudly as we could. The people standing neer is starting singing with us, more and more people in the room joined in, until eventually we were back to everyone holding hands in a ciricle all the way around the room singing. Bob just smiled at us and shook his head.
After that event, i was standing with Annie Fain, and Emily Willy, and talking about how amazing and beautiful what had just happend was. Annie Fain said "Well, the moral of the story is that if you do anything loud enough and confidently enough, everyone will join in"
Emily said "Yep. I bet if you started dancing around the room like a chicken, and you did it confidently enough, everyone would join in"
so-- i started marching around the room flapping my wings... sure enough... i eventually got about twenty five people to prance around and flap their wings in a ring around the dance floor. people i dont even know. It was amazing. No one even wanted to know why they were doing it.

life is good.

Hazel got married, and Chase got engaged, and Sarah Webb is now engaged. We're getting old
oh, and there is a new boy. We'll see how that goes when he gets back from being across the world.

We won again.
this year the shows were better than last year at state.
NCTC is the best part of the school year i think.

we got,
Production Disigin
Todd got Best director
honerable mention Ensamble acting
Honerable mention for feamale actors
Lauren Lampley
Amber McCleary
And best actor went to little Tucker Shelton.
we were rated as "superior"
and we are going to state!

The most amazing part is that on tursday night, Lauren Williams was dancing for some community band concert, she did a high leap off the stage and broke both of her feet. She couldnt get out of the hospitle in time, so Maren had to fill in for her... She learned all of her lines on the way up, and we organized all sorts of diffrent people for out set trasition. She pulled it off beautifully.

im really excited we get to go to state again... I'm really attached to this years class, i think it's because of the amout of time i spent with them out of class this year, writting the play... good bonding time.

thrusday: im a bad person. again. this seems strangly framlier... hum.
Friday: our first dance class! it was wonderful, the teacher is all kinds of cute and happy and not a crazy dance lady (why taking dance at the flat rock playhouse and not from one of the dance studios is better). We did the 1920s, and learned exciting things. after the class we went to the house of reed (it's reed's house only when chloe's at school) and watched garden state. it make's me all happy and want to be in love again. tucker told me he wishes he was in love with me. hehe
Saturday: went to the folkart center to see forrest's clogging team dance. they were pretty amazing, i've never actully enjoyed watching clogging before. i cant click my heals. Then to asheville, where tucker and i had lunch at rosetta's and picked up chloe and came back here for a little photo shoot.
After pictures, we headed to the dance, which was tons-o-fun, but im still a bad person
Sunday: one year! it's amazing. i wanted to buy cherries for our senior picnic, and run around explaning to everyone why i did so. the picnic was alright i guess, i'm a tad sunburned me thinks. we played with egg for the first time in a long time, so that's good.
goodbye

summer so far

i must say, this has been the worst summer yet.
feel no need to read, 'cause

i started off my first day of break, by slidding in the dentest chair, and having oxygen poured into my nose. they tried to get the i.v. into me, of course i was not happy about.. "take a deep breath though your nose" ..oxygen makes you high..
i could feel the drugs slipping up my arm. i thought "i wont remember this later" and tryed to keep my eyes open to watch the light slide up and down the celing, and the odd spray-painted clouds move around.
i woke up about an hour later with wads of gauze between my teeth, and my mouth and throat compleatly dry except for the trickle of blood that had esscaped from the gauze. great.
I got home, and poor issac, unknowing, called to come and get his covalent bondage shirt... he came by and looked like he was about to cry when he saw me. it was ok, i felt like crying too.
the pain pills they put me on, made me halusonate, and that in turn made me panic. I was holding an ice pack to my face, and i swear to god logan was talking to me through it. He then called on the non-frozen phone, and made me extreamly upset by not knowing what i was talking about. I really do hate not having a grasp of what is going on around me, i dont understand why people do it for fun.
the week past with little excitement, and lots of liquid food. i gained back all the weight i had lost from being pukeing and such before, because i could only eat bascily sweet food.

So, I knew that it was the most pain i had ever been in.
The next week, i got to scratch that idea.

I went out to brasstown, still not eating anything too soild, but feeling sick too. Early monday morning, i got out of bed to go to the bathroom, but didnt make it very far. Ever started to passout because of pain? I got chole to get a thermometer... fantastic! a fever!
no class for me on monday.
no class for me tuseday either.
mom came to get me on wendsday, and went home to quickly go to the doctor
This was the frist little/middle i missed seince i was six, and my last one. That my friends is heart breaking.

I got some huge ass horse pills, and more pain pills. Even stronger than the ones from before (but there was much less talk of picking up people in the tacobell parking lot through soild objects this time) Stayed stationary in bed, untill finaly i had to go to the hospitle
there, they loving shoved a tube into my bladder, and stuck a morphine drip into my hand.
i had a nice little button to press to get an extra dose. i was scared to use it, and it made my arm hurt.
got out later, for more pain pills, some anti biotic, and the same horse-pills.

i'm healing and as kristin says, i've "filled my sickness quota for the next five years"

great! i also watched palendroms, which you should rent if you want a super-depressing, very-interesting movie.
oh! i left the house the day before yesterday to go the movie store with al, yesterday to go the dance (and dance a couple) and today to go the asheville with joooly to see erinn nelson!
i'll be ok.
